Notes:

A. Please confirm your scooter model to see if it is the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 3 Lite International Edition or the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4/4 Lite/4 Ultra International Edition. Ensure it is an original model. We cannot guarantee success if it is a knockoff model.

B. The speed control chip can be adjusted to achieve the target speed by changing the scooter’s software version. This product can reach a maximum speed of 30 km/h without replacing the motor, Bluetooth board, or controller with a higher power.

C. This product is not suitable for use in public transportation areas. Because it has been modified, your controller software version may have been changed, and your insurance may be invalidated. Please understand the specific risks. This product is for use in private spaces only. The manufacturer and seller assume no responsibility for any risks. Use at your own risk and we are not responsible for any damage or other losses to the vehicle.

Installation Steps:

1. Turn off the vehicle. Remove the screws from the handlebar below the display and retain them. Open the handlebar. You will see a wire connected to the display with a plug in the middle. Unplug the plug.

2. Insert the tuning chip between the display and the wire, making sure to align the gap and insert it so as not to break the pins. Then, place the tuning chip in the middle of the handlebar and reinstall the screws you removed.

Instructions:

1. Connecting the Speed Limiter for the First Time:

After connecting the speed limiter, when you start the vehicle for the first time, the speed limiter needs to communicate with the vehicle controller. This process takes 40 seconds. During this time, the instrument panel fault light will illuminate, a red code 10 will display, and a beep will sound. Do not perform any operations during this time to prevent communication failure.

2. When the instrument panel fault light turns off, the code clears, and the beeping stops, communication is complete and the speed limiter has been unlocked. You can test the maximum speed to 30 km/h.

3. To restore the speed limiter (low-speed mode), turn off the vehicle power, wait for at least 2 seconds, and then restart it. At this point, the vehicle’s maximum speed has dropped to 20 km/h.

4. To unlock the speed limit (high-speed mode), with the vehicle stationary, press the left brake pedal eight times, then the right accelerator pedal eight times, and wait two seconds. The vehicle’s maximum speed will then increase to 30 km/h.

Note

1: After starting the vehicle, the default mode is speed limit (if the vehicle is powered off for more than two seconds, it will automatically return to speed limit mode).

Note 2: To unlock the speed limit (high-speed mode), please unlock the vehicle within 30 seconds of starting it. If you do so, you will not be able to unlock it. In this case, please power off the vehicle and then power it back on.

Normal vehicle use:

1. Users can access and display all vehicle data, such as serial number and battery level, through the official app or third-party apps.

2. Please note that for this EV controller, firmware upgrades or controller flashing using the official app or third-party apps will fail.

3. Users can configure EV parameters, such as locking and unlocking, energy recovery, taillights, and metric and imperial settings, through the official app or third-party apps.

4. Users can turn the EV on and off, turn the lights on and off, and switch the gear indicator normally.
